You can give away money, food, goods or even time to the impoverished or unfortunate, either directly or via a charitable trust or other worthy cause. Charitable giving in the name of religion or customs is referred to as almsgiving. \n

\nCharity is a humanitarian act \u2014 because you give recipients things or the means they need to survive. The intention of charity should thus be to lessen the recipients\u2019 misery, not to gain fame or fortune. You should be unconditional in extending your love and kindness to others.
